I am the Co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer at John’s Crazy Socks. People ask what I do so I thought I would share some of the things I do at work. It is Friday, so let me tell you about this week.

Our very own John Cronin will appear in the bright lights of Broadway on Saturday, September 17, as part of the annual National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Times Square Video presentation. 
Event organizers always feel pressure to find speakers who will deliver the goods. Lindsay turned to John and Mark X. Cronin, the father-son team that co-founded John’s Crazy Socks. The pair are keynote speakers who have brought crowds from conferences and corporate events to their feet and left them laughing and cheering.

One way that John shows his gratitude to the Special Olympics is to donate money from his business to support the organization. Last week, John visited with Diane Colonna, the Vice President for Downstate Operations in for New York State Special Olympics to deliver a donation check. 
Three Sock Wranglers from John's Crazy Socks made an appearance on a news report on Fox5 New York. The news story began by interviewing Chelsie Fonseca, Jon "Brick" Bleeker and Masoom Syed. Each got to talk about the work they do and the contributions they make at John's Crazy Socks.

Long Island-based John’s Crazy Socks, the world’s largest sock store, has moved into larger warehouse and office space to accommodate their growth. They celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks from elected officials and business leaders and a performance by the FREE Drum and Bugle Corp.

The Special Olympics New York Spring Games came to Farmingdale, Long Island on Saturday May 21 and John’s Crazy Socks was out in force for the games. Our co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer, John Cronin, competed in three events as did our colleague Andrew Oh. And John’s Crazy Socks provided fun and games at the Olympic Village set up to entertain the athletes and guests between events. 

We have grown from a two-person business with a few handfuls of different socks to offering 4,000 different socks, making John’s Crazy Socks the world’s largest sock store.

John Cronin is on a mission to spread happiness and he did just that in his visit to Washington Drive Primary School in Centerport, New York. John brought pure joy when he visited the students in Ms. Kelly Lewis’s special education classroom. John told his story, danced and shared hugs with the students.
