We only operate online so we can be everywhere that you are. We may change our minds in the future or run some pop-up shops, so we will let you know about any developments on the brick and mortar front.

Here are a few tidbits about Farmingdale / Huntington Area: 

Walt Whitman was born here and founded the local newspaper, The Long Islander. Nobel Prize winner James Watson lived here and helped found the local Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. John Coltrane lived here and this is where he wrote, A Love Supreme. Taylor Swift filmed her Blank Space video here. Among others who grew up here or lived here were painter Arthur Dove, E-Bay founder Meg Whitman, writer Jack Kerouac, actress Lindsey Lohan,and singer  Harry Chapin

They come from all over. We are scouring the world for the coolest socks that we can offer you and we are always adding new socks. Some come from big sock producers, others from small ventures run by artisans.  Check the product description and we tell you where that item was made.

We design our own Awareness Sock Collection and the sales of each pair raise money for organizations associated with those causes. We also design many of our own fun and colorful socks. We arrange to have our designs manufactured at factories in both the US and around the world.

Security is important to you and to us. We operate a secure site (notice the https://  in our url.)  All of your transactions are fully encrypted. We back up all our files and we do not share any data with outside sources.

Your privacy is important to us and we do all we can to earn your trust. We carefully guard any information you give us and never share, sell or rent out any personal data. You can read our full privacy policy here.

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept PayPal. We are big music fans so we will accept tickets to shows by the following performers: Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Jason Isbell and the Avett Brothers, Third Harmony, Beyoncé, Katy Perry. (Guess which Mark likes and which John prefers.) Send us the tickets and we’ll send you socks.

We do not have a formal bulk purchase program, but if you email us at service@johnscrazysocks.com and tell us what you want, we will work something out that will make you happy.

Yes, we provide discounts and we generally like to make them a surprise.

There are other ways you might receive a discount. You might find a discount card when you receive your order. You might get a discount from our Facebook page. We will include discounts in our email newsletter.  We take care of our customers so keep your eyes out for discount opportunities coming your way.

We have been focusing on our retail business but we plan to open our wholesale division in October 2022. If you are interested in making a wholesale purchase, please send us an email at service@johnscrazysocks.com so that we can add you to our notification list when we open our wholesale division.

We ship throughout the U.S. and dozens of countries around the world. Check our shipping page to see the list of countries where we ship.  

We want you to receive your socks right away. If we receive your order before 1 p.m. (eastern time), your order will go out that day. If you order after 1 p.m., your order will go out the next business day. Orders received over the weekend or on a holiday, ship on the next business day. There may be some exceptions, but they would be described on the product page for the socks you ordered.

If your order totals $24 or more, you receive free shipping via first class mail.

If you have an order less than $60, then we charge you the actual postage rate.

If you want it shipped faster, we will make that happen, but you have to pay for it. We keep that simple too: 

Priority Mail (two to three business days): starts at $8.70 and increases based upon the weight of the package and distance from our NY facility. We also offer UPS Next Day Air if you have a "sock emergency" which starts at around $25.00 and increases based upon the weight of the package and distance from our NY facility.

We want you to love our socks and to make you happy. You can return your purchase no questions asked in the first 365 days and we will give you a refund. You can read our full refunds and exchange policy here.
