Key proposals included disability-owned business certification and more support for disability-owned businesses. More than half of our team—22 out of 34 employees—are people with differing abilities. For many, this is their first job, and we take that milestone seriously. Let us share the special ways we welcome and honor our Sock Wranglers (what we lovingly call the pickers in our Pick and Pack warehouse).

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, a time dedicated to celebrating the abilities, accomplishments, and contributions of people with Down syndrome. For us at John’s Crazy Socks, this month holds special significance—our co-founder, John Cronin, is a successful entrepreneur with Down syndrome, and his story is a testament to the incredible potential that people with differing abilities can achieve.
John and Mark made the trip to visit and speak at Ripon College. And what a wonderful experience they had. 
At John’s Crazy Socks, we believe in working hard and having fun—and last night’s Bowling Night with our Sock Wranglers proved just that! We gathered our incredible team at the Bowlmor alley in Melville for a much-deserved evening of laughter, pizza, and some friendly competition.
