We love Camp Anchor which serves people with differing abilities ranging in age from 5 to 74 years young. This year, Camp Anchor celebrated their 50th anniversary and John’s Crazy Socks wanted to be part of the celebration. We worked with the Camp to create a 50th Anniversary Camp Anchor Sock and we used that sock to raise funds for the Camp.

John here. I walk around saying a lot of things. Now, I am taking my words and turning them into socks. Linda, our Happiness Imagineer, calls what I say, “John-isms,” so now we have socks called John-sim socks. And because I love the Special Olympics, $1 from every pair sold of the John-ism Socks goes to the Special Olympics. We’re spreading happiness and I hope these socks make you happy.

A pair of entrepreneurs, who happen to have Down syndrome, have each created a successful businesses and now they are teaming up for a joint project. John Cronin, who co-founded John’s Crazy Socks, is collaborating with Sean McElwee, who founded Seanese Tees. Sean is also a cast member of The Emmy Winning Docu-Series  “Born This Way” on A&E.  The duo collaborated to produce a special patriotic gift box for Independence Day called John and Sean Coast To Coast Gift Box. The gift box features Fireworks Socks designed by John and “This Land Was Made For Me Too” T-Shirt designed by Sean of Seanese Tee's. Two dollars from the sale of each patriotic box will go to fund Down syndrome research.

Nothing makes us happier than giving back to charity. We work hand-in-hand with our charity partners to help raise awareness for their causes. Then we report on this activity for our customers. Without you, none of this would be possible.

We are excited to share that in March 2018, we raised $27,151 for our charity partners.
