John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, is a tireless advocate for people with Down syndrome and all people with differing abilities. John took time today to thank New York Assemblyman Steve Stern for his support for people with differing abilities by presenting the Assembly with a Certificate of Appreciation from John’s Crazy Socks.
John Cronin together with his co-founder and father, Mark X. Cronin, made a special delivery to Sleepy Coffee Too so they would have socks in time for the opening of their gift shop.
Working with a new charity partner, Gift of Adoption, John’s Crazy Socks recently introduced their Adoption Awareness Socks that celebrate the joys of adoption. John’s Crazy Socks donates 10 percent from the sale of those socks to Gift of Adoption. On Saturday, John delivered a package of these socks to parents who recently adopted a new baby with the support of Gift of Adoption.
This past weekend, John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks and his friend and John’s Crazy Socks colleague, Andrew Oh, travelled to Ithaca, New York to compete in the New York Special Olympics 2023 Summer State Games.
One of the most important teachers in John Cronin’s life was Karen Campagnoni who taught the retailing and customer service class that John took at Wilson Tech during his last year of schooling. Ms. Campagnoni has announced that she is retiring at the end of this school year after a 26-year career in the classroom.
John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, has filmed his first TV commercial. This ad was made possible by a grant from King Quality, the region’s largest home remodeling company.
John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, travelled to ACDS to personally deliver a quarterly donation check to one of his favorite charity partners. John brought a big check to symbolize the donation (he brought an actual check too) and to thank the leadership and staff at ACDS for the work they do.
John Cronin travelled to Capitol Hill to advocate for the rights of people with Down syndrome. As part of those efforts, he met with Congressman Andrew Garbarino who represents the Long Island Congressional District where John’s Crazy Socks is located.
John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, travelled to join his colleagues at the Third Annual Long Island Autism Acceptance at the Bohemia Fire Department. John and his colleagues met with families to show their support for the autism community.
John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer at John’s Crazy Socks, arrived at the offices of Coastline Wealth Management and immediately began handing out socks. People began to “ooh” and “ahh” and break out into smiles as John went from office to office handing out the custom socks that John’s Crazy Socks made for Coastline.
