John’s Crazy Socks Hand Delivers Wholesale Order to Sleepy Coffee Too

Kim Kaczmarek stepped down as a special education teacher, but not to sail off into retirement. Instead, she is opening a coffee shop, Sleepy Coffee Too, that will employ people with differing abilities. Ahead of the official opening of the coffee shop, Kim has opened a small gift shop and she requested a last-minute order to carry socks from John’s Crazy Socks. John Cronin together with his co-founder and father, Mark X. Cronin, made a special delivery to Kim and her team so they would have socks in time for the opening of their gift shop.

“We love what Kim is doing,” said John Cronin, “and we want to do everything we can to help her.”

“John has a mission to spread happiness,” said Kim Kaczmarek, “and he made a lot of people happy when he showed up at our door to deliver his socks.”

John’s Crazy Socks’ own line of socks called J’s, that include our famous Awareness Socks, are now available for retail stores to carry. We are excited that Sleepy Coffee Too is making our socks available to their customers.

Sleepy Coffee Too and John’s Crazy Socks share a mission to employ people with differing abilities and to show the world what they can do.

“I first met John and Mark when they spoke at our high school and they provided the inspiration to start Sleepy Coffee Too,” said Kim.

John and Mark have offered support and advice to Kim as she has developed her business and spoke at a fundraiser for the coffee shop.

Mark X. Cronin said, “We are always looking to support businesses that are led by or employing people with differing abilities. When Kim told us about her plans, we wanted to do all we could to help her.”

Kim is already busy interviewing employees in anticipation of opening Sleepy Coffee Too in September 2023. The coffee shop will be located at 110 Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow, New York. You can reach Kim and her team at sleepycoffeetoo@gmail.com. In the meantime, you can visit the gift shop at the same address.

Now Offering John’s Crazy Socks Products in Retail Stores

John’s Crazy Socks opened in December 2016 selling directly to consumers through our website. Over time, John grew his store into the world’s largest sock store. Now, John is making his socks available to retail stores so more customers will be able to experience the happiness of owning a pair of John’s Crazy Socks.

John said, “We have a mission to spread happiness and we do it with our socks.”

“Entering the wholesale market and helping retail stores carry our products will allow us to reach more people and spread more happiness,” said John’s co-founder and father, Mark X. Cronin. “Our customers love our socks and they know that when they buy our socks, they enable us to employ people with differing abilities – more than half our colleagues have a differing ability. Our customers feel good about supporting our Giving Back Program – we start by donating five percent of our earnings to the Special Olympics and have donated over $600,000 to our charity partners. Most of all, buying our socks lets customers spread happiness. Wearing our socks make people feel good.”

Retail Offerings from John’s Crazy Socks

Retail stores can now carry J’s, the private line of John’s Crazy Socks that include our famous Awareness Socks. The J’s are exclusive to John’s Crazy Socks with vibrant designs and construction that customers love.

Our Awareness Socks celebrate causes like Down syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy and raise money for charity partners like the National Down Syndrome Society, the Autism Society of America and United Cerebral Palsy.

“Our socks make a difference,” said John Cronin, “And that’s why they make our customers so happy.”

Mark added, “Our customers tell us that just putting on our socks makes them feel good all day.”
