Sharing their journey of building an inclusive business, they showcased the power of perseverance and hiring people with differing abilities.

Their heartfelt message of hope and humor brought the audience to its feet, highlighting the impact of inclusion and their mission to Spread Happiness. 

John and Mark X. Cronin, co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks, travelled to Fort Wayne, Indiana where they delivered a talk with the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Indiana.
This presents a good opportunity to share what one can say to the parents of a newborn child with Down syndrome. Start by offering love, support, and congratulations just as you would for any other new parent. Be kind.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, a time dedicated to celebrating the abilities, accomplishments, and contributions of people with Down syndrome. For us at John’s Crazy Socks, this month holds special significance—our co-founder, John Cronin, is a successful entrepreneur with Down syndrome, and his story is a testament to the incredible potential that people with differing abilities can achieve.
John had a magical weekend last week celebrating with the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). The weekend started in Times Square with the screening of a video, then moved to Central Park for the annual NYC Buddy Walk and finished at the Mets game on Sunday afternoon with John invited onto the field for a special celebration.

Working with Down Syndrome International and the National Down Syndrome Society, John’s Crazy Socks created socks that celebrate people with Down syndrome and call attention to their capabilities and achievements.
