We have welcomed over 2,000 visitors to tour our operations at John’s Crazy Socks. We want people to see our colleagues at work, we want them to see the business that John, an entrepreneur with Down syndrome, has created. We want them to see what is possible for a business with a purpose.
A leadership team from Helen Keller Services visited John’s Crazy Socks to explore ways the two organizations can collaborate and create more jobs for people with visual impairment.
John and Mark X. Cronin, the father-son team that founded John's Crazy Socks, spoke with future doctors and medical professionals at the College of the Holy Cross on treating patients and families with a differing ability.
John Cronin, Co-Founder of John’s Crazy Socks, has a special place in his heart for ACDS because he attended their preschool. John welcomed the opportunity to visit ACDS and hand-deliver the quarterly donation check from John’s Crazy Socks.
John Cronin and John’s Crazy Socks came out to support the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Adult Summit in Cincinnati. The Adult Summit brings together adults with Down syndrome and their caregivers to learn from experts and leaders on issues of independence and aging.
“I love the Special Olympics,” said John Cronin, the co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks. “I’ve been competing in the Special Olympics for twenty-two years. And I am on teams all year round.”
“Voting is so important,” says John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks. “It is how I make my voice heard. And it is how we make sure elected officials pay attention to us.”
