Tyreek Hill, the star wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins received a $7,000 fine for not wearing socks. John Cronin, who loves socks so much that he started his very own sock company, John’s Crazy Socks, thought that was crazy. John sent a box of his socks to Tyreek Hill.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), a time to celebrate the achievements of people with differing abilities in the workplace. Yet there is a stain on the celebration because the sub-minimum wage persists and we have people in this country paid as little as $0.25 an hour simply because they have a disability. It is past time that we eliminated the sub-minimum wage.

John and Mark X. Cronin, co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks, spoke with self-advocates, parents and supporters at GiGi's Playhouse Phoenix/Scottsdale. The father-son team shared their story as a family and in business to offer an example of what people with Down syndrome can accomplish and to offer encouragement to the self-advocates with Down syndrome and their families.
John’s Crazy Socks is staging our second annual Another Face of Beauty: Fashion and Art Show as part of the Long Island Fall Festival. The event will feature a fashion show, musical performances and a display of artwork. All of the models, performers and artists will have differing abilities.

John Cronin and his father and co-founder, Mark X. Cronin, gave a virtual tour and presentation to the Beacons organization in Carlsbad, California. The father-son team met with students from the Entrepreneurial Class in the Pathfinder Program. 
John Cronin, the co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, attended the opening of Art Ability 2023 at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center. There were over 500 pieces of art on display all created by artists with a differing ability.
