People with Down syndrome face a high risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, a reality that is deeply personal for our family. At John’s Crazy Socks, we honor loved ones like Mamo, raise awareness through Alzheimer’s Awareness Socks, and support research with partners like LuMind IDSC. By sharing knowledge, encouraging early action, and fueling hope in new treatments, we aim to support families and build a brighter future.

John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, joined LuMind IDSC for an inspiring evening focused on Alzheimer’s in the Down syndrome community. With 92% of people with Down syndrome at risk, this event highlighted the urgent need for research and support. John and his family not only attended but also participate in critical studies and advocacy efforts. Read more about how they’re helping bridge hope and action, one sock at a time.

John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, returned to Boston this past weekend to continue his participation in a medical research study of people with Down syndrome.
