John’s Crazy Socks has announced that Isabella Blake, of Irvine, California, has won the third Annual “Autism Can Do” Scholarship. Ms. Blake will use the funds to continue her studies at Irvine Valley College and University of California-Irvine. This year’s scholarship was co-sponsored by the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.
John’s Crazy Socks is excited to announce that Jacob Greene from Huntington Station, New York has been selected as our Differing Abilities Design Intern for the summer of 2021. This position goes to a person with differing abilities who has the design skills that can assist in designing new socks for John’s Crazy Socks.
April is Autism Awareness Month and that is very important to us here at John’s Crazy Socks. We have a mission to show what people with differing abilities can do and that includes people with autism. We know the joy and contributions that people with autism bring to the world.
As part of its Giving Back Program and its mission to show what people can do when given a chance, John’s Crazy Socks is sponsoring an Autism Can Do Scholarship. This program will present a $3,000 scholarship to as person on the autism spectrum in the United States to use at a college or trade school.
John’s Crazy Socks works every day to show what is possible when you give someone a chance. Many of our colleagues are on the autism spectrum and they do extraordinary work.
