John’s Crazy Socks is excited to announce that Jacob Greene from Huntington Station, New York has been selected as our Differing Abilities Design Intern for the summer of 2021. This position goes to a person with differing abilities who has the design skills that can assist in designing new socks for John’s Crazy Socks.
John Cronin, the co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks attended pre-school at ACDS and made a return visit yesterday morning to deliver a donation. ACDS is one of the key charity partners in the Giving Back program at John’s Crazy Socks.
On Friday, May 14,John’s Crazy Socks will be recognized as a Community Honoree during the Stronger Together: Virtual Benefit for Good Samaritan Hospital. Good Samaritan will recognize John and Mark X. Cronin, co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks, for their support of the hospital and frontline workers during the pandemic year.
John and Mark X. Cronin, the co-founders of John’s Crazy Socks, will deliver the keynote address at “Catch the Wave,” the 2021 SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) Long Island Chapter Conference. This will be the largest conference of its kind on Long Island.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, we wanted to find a way to say thank you to the frontline medical workers. They were putting their lives on the line to treat the rest of us. We created our HealthCare Superhero Socks and This Hero Wears Scrubs Socks to express our admiration and gratitude.
In March 2021, we raised $9,785.00 for our charity partners. Through March 2021, we have now raised more than $421,985 for our charity partners. Giving Back is an essential part of our mission and we are excited by our ability to support others. We continue to learn that the more we can give, the happier we are.
Vanderbilt University has asked John and Mark X. Cronin to give a speech at the graduation ceremony for the Next Steps program. Leading entrepreneurs and advocates for the rights of the disabled, the Cronins are excited to both congratulate the graduates on their achievement and to inspire them to make their mark on the world.
