As part of that love for the Special Olympics, John’s Crazy Socks is helping sponsor the Brookhaven Polar Plunge. John will lead a team of his colleagues into the Long Island Sound and do the plunge for the Special Olympics. They will be freezing for a reason.
John’s Crazy Socks is proud to report that three of its athletes, John Cronin, Andrew Oh and Liam Mrotzek, returned home from the 2018 Special Olympics Winter Games, held in Rochester, N.Y., from February 23-25, bringing back gold, silver and bronze medals.
Here at John’s Crazy Socks, we’re serious about our support for the Special Olympics. On November 19, our namesake John jumped into freezing water as part of a Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. He raised over $600 that day.
