After listening to Taylor Swift’s music for years, John will proudly share that he is a Swiftie.
“I love Taylor Swift,” said John. “I love her music, I love her singing, I love her dancing. I love everything about her.”
Being a full-fledged Swiftie, John couldn’t wait to see Taylor Swift’s new movie: Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
“The movie had me dancing,” John said. He recorded a video review.
Taylor Swift is a multi-dimensional whirlwind of talent bringing joy to her legion of fans. In that regard, John Cronin has much in common with Taylor Swift. John Cronin and Taylor Swift: Two Dancers
Like Taylor Swift, John is a performer and dancer too. John has become known for his dance moves that fans follow on his TikTok channel. Every Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. eastern time, John hosts an online Dance Party. He plays DJ, picking out a set list of music that almost always includes some Taylor Swift, and he leads his fans in a half hour of dancing.
“We have so much fun and what better way to spread happiness than by dancing,” said John.
John’s a performer, showing off not only his dance moves, but his comedic talents on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. He is a sought-after keynote speaker, headlining events across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
John Cronin and Taylor Swift: Two Movie Stars
Like Taylor Swift, John has dipped his toe into the movies. He has appeared in three movies. Sock Guys is an award-winning documentary short that tells the story of John’s life and creating John’s Crazy Socks. In Igniting Impact, John is one of several social entrepreneurs featured for the impact they have on the world. Carol of the Bells is a Christmas story directed by Joey Travolta in which John has a walk-on role. 
John does not have the world-wide fame of Taylor Swift, but he is certainly well known. He has appeared on all the major U.S. Networks as well seeing himself featured on broadcasts around the world in countries ranging from Canada and England to India, Italy, Spain, South Korea, and South Africa.
When asked if he would like to meet Taylor Swift, John answers with an enthusiastic, “Yes. We could dance and sing together, that would be great.” And John points out, “I am 27, single and eligible.” Is there a future match between John and Taylor Swift? You never know.
