If you know John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer at John’s Crazy Socks, you know he loves his music and he loves to dance. So, John found himself in heaven this weekend at the Newport Folk Festival, the annual weekend that brings together an eclectic bunch of artists old and young for three days of music, dancing, and frolicking in the summer sun.
“I had so much fun,” said John.
John’s been traveling to this festival with his parents since he's been a little kid. He loves the music, the crowd, the sun and everything about the weekend and he lets his freak flag fly. His favorite performers this time round included: Danielle Ponder, Jason Isbell, Gregory Alan Isakov and Billie Strings.
“I loved it when Whitney Mongé sang proud Mary to honor Tina Turner. And Goose the band had Animal from the Muppets play drums with them,” said John.
Looking back at the weekend, John said, “I work hard at my businesses, but it is important to get away and have fun too.”
