We now offer our socks to retailers to carry in their stores through our wholesale program. We’ve been in big stores (Kohl’s) and a growing number of mom and pop and boutique stores around the country. One of our favorite stores is Esteamed Coffee in Cary, North Carolina. They are a cozy coffee shop that offers gifts and artwork to their customers.
John’s Crazy Socks shares a mission of employing people with differing abilities – more than half our colleagues have a differing ability – and showing the world what people with differing abilities can do.
“I am so happy that Esteamed Coffee is carrying my socks in their store,” said John Cronin, co-founder and inspiration for John’s Crazy Socks. John created the wholesale program so more people can get his sock and he can spread more happiness.
Esteamed Coffee and John's Crazy Socks
Of course, Esteamed Coffee is more than just a coffee shop. They offer coffee with a cause. They have built a community on “a mission to lower the 70+% unemployment rate for people with disabilities by creating meaningful job opportunities for people with intellectual, developmental, communication and/or visual impairments in a warm supportive environment.”
We are honored that our socks are among the products they carry in their coffee shop. If you are anywhere near Cary, North Carolina, stop by and tell them John sent you.
Wholesale Socks: You Can Carry John’s Crazy Socks in Your Retail Store
John’s Crazy Socks opened in December 2016 selling directly to consumers through our website. Over time, John grew his store into the world’s largest sock store. Now, John is making his socks available to retail stores in our wholesale program so more customers will be able to experience the happiness of owning a pair of John’s Crazy Socks.
John said, “We have a mission to spread happiness and we do it with our socks.”
“Entering the wholesale market and helping retail stores carry our products will allow us to reach more people and spread more happiness,” said John’s co-founder and father, Mark X. Cronin. “Our customers love our socks and they know that when they buy our socks, they enable us to employ people with differing abilities – more than half our colleagues have a differing ability. Our customers feel good about supporting our Giving Back Program – we start by donating five percent of our earnings to the Special Olympics and have donated over $750,000 to our charity partners. Most of all, buying our socks lets customers spread happiness. Wearing our socks make people feel good.”
Wholesale Socks: Retail Offerings from John’s Crazy Socks
Retail stores can now carry J’s, the private line of John’s Crazy Socks that include our famous Awareness Socks. The J’s are exclusive to John’s Crazy Socks with vibrant designs and construction that customers love.
Our Awareness Socks celebrate causes like Down syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy and raise money for charity partners like the National Down Syndrome Society, the Autism Society of America, and United Cerebral Palsy.
“Our socks make a difference,” said John Cronin, “And that’s why they make our customers so happy.”
Mark added, “Our customers tell us that just putting on our socks makes them feel good all day.”
