Down Syndrome Holiday Super Box Showcases Entrepreneurs with Down Syndrome

Just in time for the holidays, John’s Crazy Socks has introduced a Down Syndrome Holiday Super Box with 14 amazing holiday items from entrepreneurs with Down syndrome. John and these fellow entrepreneurs have Down syndrome but Down syndrome never holds them back!

This unique holiday offering will delight and dazzle customers and makes an ideal holiday gift. Not only will people love the items, but they will find hope and inspiration in the story behind these companies. Especially during this Christmas season, the Holiday Super Box demonstrates the value in each of us and the ability we all have to make a difference. The Holiday Super Box demonstrates the talents and achievements of these business leaders with Down syndrome.

John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks, said, “I have Down syndrome and I am proud of my business. The Holiday Super Box makes me so happy. It makes people happy for the holidays and shows that people with Down syndrome can be entrepreneurs and can have great businesses.”

Gabi Angelini, who co-founded Gabi’s Grounds, a coffee company, said, “I am proud of the business I built. I am excited to join so many others in being a part of the Down Syndrome Holiday Super Box. We are super.”

The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) is supporting the Down Syndrome Super Box as part of their program to promote self-advocate businesses. John’s Crazy Socks is donating $2 from the sale of each Holiday Super Box to support the work of NDSS.

Kandi Pickard, CEO of NDSS, said, “The Down Syndrome Holiday Super Box is an excellent way to spread awareness and build excitement surrounding entrepreneurs with Down syndrome. We are so excited to help demonstrate the achievements and hard work of entrepreneurs with Down syndrome across the country.”

Mark X. Cronin, John’s co-founder and father, said, “The unemployment rate among people with a disability is 80 percent. We want people with differing abilities to see that entrepreneurship is an option and we want businesses to see the valuable work that people with differing abilities can perform.”
