One way we carry out that mission is to advocate for policy, legislative and regulatory changes to support people with differing abilities. This week, John and Mark X. Cronin, our co-founders, met with two members of Congress to push for key legislative changes that advance the rights of people with differing abilities.

April is Autism Awareness Month and that is very important to us here at John’s Crazy Socks. We have a mission to show what people with differing abilities can do and that includes people with autism. We know the joy and contributions that people with autism bring to the world.  
This Autism Can Do Scholarship offers a person with autism in the United States or Canada $5,000 to invest in his or her education. The Autism Can Do Scholarship demonstrates our commitment to showing the world what people with autism can do.

John Cronin, Co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer at John’s Crazy Socks created Unity Socks in an effort “to bring America together.” On March 30, he presented a pair of those socks to Congressman Andrew Garbarino and Congressman Tom Suozzi and announced that he would present a pair of the socks to every member of Congress.

John designed the Unity Socks with American flags spread across a field of blue to symbolize the unity and inclusion that binds all Americans. As John said, “Let’s do something to bring people together and make them happy.”
