Introducing Our New All Abilities Crew Socks: A Celebration of Inclusion

At John’s Crazy Socks, we’re on a mission to spread happiness and showcase what people with differing abilities can achieve. We are thrilled to introduce our newest product, the All Abilities Crew Socks, designed to celebrate people with differing abilities and to promote inclusion. We are donating 10 percent from the sale of these socks to The Viscardi Center

Socks with a Purpose

The All Abilities Crew Socks are more than just a pair of socks—they are a symbol of inclusion and a celebration of the unique abilities of all individuals. The design shows a wide variety of people holding hands because we have so much more in common than what separates us. At John’s Crazy Socks, we focus on what people can do, not what they cannot do.

With a vibrant and uplifting design, these socks embody the spirit of acceptance and the belief that everyone, regardless of their abilities, has something valuable to contribute.

Why We Made These Socks

At John’s Crazy Socks, we believe in the power of socks to make a statement and spread joy. The All Abilities Crew Socks were created to honor and support the diverse abilities within our community. We wanted to create a product that not only looks great but also carries a meaningful message of inclusion and support for those with differing abilities.

By purchasing a pair of All Abilities Crew Socks, you are not only adding a stylish and comfortable item to your wardrobe but also supporting an important cause. Your purchase helps fund the incredible work done by The Viscardi Center and promotes a message of acceptance and inclusion.

Supporting The Viscardi Center

As part of our Giving Back Program, we are excited to donate 10 percent of the proceeds from the sale of these socks to The Viscardi Center. The Viscardi Center is a nonprofit organization that provides a lifespan of services that educate, employ, and empower people with disabilities. They are dedicated to creating a world where people of all abilities can thrive and succeed.

Both John’s Crazy Socks and The Viscardi Center work to show what people with differing abilities can achieve. Leaders from both organizations have toured each other’s buildings and shared best practices.

To ensure that its website is accessible to all, John’s Crazy Socks has turned to The Viscardi Center’s Digital Accessibility Services team for assistance. John and his partner/father Mark X. Cronin recently spoke to students and program participants at The Viscardi Center. And John was named a winner of a 2022 Henry Viscardi Achievement Award

“The Viscardi Center has long set the standard in creative and cutting-edge approaches to supporting people with differing abilities,” said Mark X. Cronin. “We are inspired by them and welcome the opportunity to learn from them.”

“We want to support the work of The Viscardi Center and that is why we are donating money from the sale of the All Abilities Crew Socks to them,” said John Cronin.

John’s Crazy Socks also donates 10 percent from the sale of the  Wheels on Fire Socks to The Viscardi Center.

About John’s Crazy Socks

John’s Crazy Socks was inspired by John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome, and his love of colorful and fun socks—what he calls his “crazy socks.” He and his father, Mark X. Cronin, started the company as a social enterprise with a mission of Spreading Happiness™. With more than 4,000 socks, John’s Crazy Socks is now the world’s largest sock store. More than half their employees have a differing ability, and their Giving Back program has raised over $750,000 for charity partners like the Special Olympics, the National Down Syndrome Society, and the Autism Society of America. Most of all, we are Spreading Happiness™.
