Unstoppable Duo and the 5K Race

JJohn here. Summer is here and that means going outside for lots of fun.

I have been going on hikes with my family and going to listen to music.

My town, Huntington, has concerts in the park and this weekend I am going to Jones Beach to see Big Time Rush with my friend Todd. I have been working to get into better shape.

My Dad and I are now going to work together so we can help each other. We are training to run a 5K road race next Father’s Day.

  I want to help my Dad get back into shape. We are walking and doing exercises and eating healthy. At night, we are writing in a journal.

 I love helping my Dad and I am so grateful that he is helping me. I can’t wait to run my first 5k race.
