Video Game Socks
My knowledge of the video game world may be limited but I’d venture to guess that these Video Game Socks are, and will remain, very popular. I have it on good authority that there are at least two billion video gamers out there, a population known as the gamerati. No, don’t try to find it in a dictionary, just pick up a gaming magazine. That’s two billion folks pulling socks on every day. How many would be proud to wear these bold Video Game Socks?
We know that the boundaries between the video game world and ours are becoming increasingly thin as the gamerati’s interaction increases to new levels. A game may be sending text messages and Xbox characters will share socially, as if they're humans. They just won’t be able to wear our socks.
Gaming is destined to become the most popular form of entertainment, bigger than movies or music! What a future for Video Game Socks!
Now that we’ve glimpsed the future, I’m remembering that big brown Commodore 64. We always plugged the joystick into port 2 for some reason. And Pac Man’s frenetic activity, navigating mazes, constantly gobbling dots. Sort of like me in college, where the dots were No Doze tablets. Pac-Man has reinvented itself for today’s audiences, still one of the best arcade-style games.
Note: "Video game socks" appears on only the right-hand side of both socks.
