Masoom has been a sock wrangler at John’s Crazy Socks for the past two years. He is responsible for picking orders that are placed online. What he likes about working at John’s Crazy Socks is that there is always something to do. Whether it’s picking orders, making boxes, training new hires, or helping us move to a new location last year, Masoom keeps busy. When asked what advice he would give to new sock wranglers, he says, “focus, don’t get distracted, and try not to make the same mistakes.”
When the John’s Crazy Socks team gets together outside of work, Masoom has a great time. In the photos below, Masoom poses with his colleagues at our holiday party and shows off a raffle basket that he won at the Tri-CYA Gala.
In his spare time, Masoom watches TV, exercises, and reads books at night, because reading books at night helps him sleep better. His favorite book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He is also a movie-lover. At the top of his movie list are The Dark Knight, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Back to the Future, The Wizard of Oz, and more. Masoom says, “These are movies that I have always loved and I always will love.”
Masoom has a varied taste in music, ranging from Korean K-Pop to movie soundtracks. He especially enjoys the movie music composed by John Williams, such as the soundtracks from Harry Potter, Star Wars, and even Superman.
Masoom lives with his parents, an older sister, an older brother, and younger sisters who are identical twins, Inaya and Hidaya, and a pet parakeet, named Spring.
A fun fact about Masoom that he would like to share, is that he has a very good memory. He remembers everyone’s name and birthday, and even wedding anniversary. Masoom is a valued member of our John’s Crazy Socks team.
