Giving Back Report for December 2017
Everyone knows that retailers depend on holiday sales. Here at John’s Crazy Socks, the holidays mean we get to raise more money for our charity partners. In December 2017, your support helped us to make a $4,872 donation to our charitable partners.
Our Giving Pack Program
Giving Back to our charity partners is a keystone of John’s Crazy Socks.
John Cronin, the co-founder and inspiration of our business, set the course for our Giving Back Program when we began our operation in December 2016. To start off we donated 5% of our earnings to Special Olympics. Then, to grow our Giving Back Program, John created a series of Charity and Awareness Socks. Each time you purchase a Charity or Awareness Sock a donation is made to our charitable partners. Nothing makes us, and our customers, happier than making a charitable donation. That’s one good reason why Charity and Awareness socks are best-sellers!
Giving Back – December 2017
This report covers sales and activities from December 1 through December 31, 2017.
Giving Back to the Special Olympics
We pledged to donate 5 percent of our earnings to the Special Olympics. While we have not closed the books on 2017, each month we make a donation to the Special Olympics. For December 2017, we are donating $500. Last May, we introduced a Sock of the Month Cub and pledged 5 percent from all sales to the Special Olympics. Moreover, each sale of Shark Socks and Polar Plunge Socks also results in a donation to the Special Olympics.
We received an influx of orders in December. Subscriptions to our Sock of the Month Club mushroomed. We donated $1,190 from our Sock of the Month Subscription alone. Here is what we raised altogether in December for the Special Olympics:
