Blue Whale Socks Socks
We love these Blue Whale Socks with their navy blue whales floating on a Bermuda blue sea. They’re beautiful and fun.
We also love these Blue Whale Socks because $1 from every pair sold goes to the Whaling Museum and Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor. The Whaling Museum brings to life Long Island’s maritime past and helps us connect with the sea that surrounds us. They have artifacts, artwork and historical documents from when Cold Spring Harbor and much of Long Island was at the heart of the worldwide whaling industry. Better yet, they create exhibits and offer shows and programs that bring that world to life. Their focus is not just on the past, but how the past informs our lives today and will help shape our future. It is small museum with a personal touch and creative staff.
Our co-founder and inspiration, John Cronin, loves to visit the museum. During visits there, he’s made toy boats and simulated scrimshaw. He’s danced to a rockabilly band during one of the Museum’s Whales, Tales and Ales Nights when they open the museum to visitors, have performers re-enacting scenes from the past and welcome local craftspeople to share their wares. What a great time the whole family had!
So grab a pair of these beautiful and fun socks and know you’re helping a good cause. We will donate $1 from the sale of every pair of the Blue Whale Socks to the Whaling Museum so they can further their mission. The Blue Whale Socks fit women with shoe sizes 5 through 10.5.
