John loves socks, colorful, fun, creative socks, that’s why he started John’s Crazy Socks. John’s been leading this business for nearly ten years. He’s ready to grow beyond socks; that’s why he started Wahooo Market by John. You can find his socks there, but so much more: Apparel, home goods, jewelry, snacks and even dog treats. There are fabulous gifts, and everything is made by people with differing abilities or companies that employ them.
As part of this new business, John has opened his first retail store in Huntington, New York. In fact, the store is right around the corner from where John first housed John’s Crazy Socks. And the first thing you see when you walk into the store is a giant wall of socks. You see hundreds of pairs of socks, an explosion of colors, patterns, and images.
People love the wall of socks. They point out favorites. They show their kids. They come back with friends. They take pictures in front of the wall. It is fast becoming a destination location, a tourist spot.
John loves his wall of socks and wants to give it a name. And he wants your help.
Here are the Names So Far
We started with dozens of potential names and narrowed the list down to three:

2. John's WOW Wall of Socks
3. The Wahooo Wall

Why This Wall Matters
The wall is more than a display. It's our mission made visible.
John has loved crazy socks his whole life. When he was finishing school and couldn't find a job he liked, he made one, starting John's Crazy Socks with his dad, Mark, in 2016. His mission was simple: make people happy. That mission lives on at Wahooo Market, where more than half of our colleagues have a differing ability.
On the wall, you'll find John's own J's socks and our awareness socks, which raise money for causes close to our hearts, including the world's first Down syndrome-themed sock, designed by John. Beyond the wall, there's a whole market of apparel, jewelry, home items, candy, cookies, coffee, books, and gifts, many made by people with differing abilities or by companies that employ them.
