Maggie is a star Sock Wrangler at John’s Crazy Socks. She first joined us for the 2022 holiday season and we’re so happy that she has returned to pick orders. Read on to learn more about Maggie.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I’ve lived in Farmingdale for the majority of my life and that hasn’t changed as of writing this!
What do you like to do outside of work?
Napping, online reading, watching YouTube videos, playing the Nintendo Switch, listening to randomly specific music, window shopping, and sitting outside.
What are your favorite movies?
My favorite animated movie is Ernest & Celestine, and my favorite live-action movie is Napoleon Dynamite.
What are your favorite TV shows?
I don’t watch a lot of TV shows these days, but I love keeping up with Big City Greens.
What are your favorite books?
Anything written by Roald Dahl.
Who are your favorite bands or singers?
I don’t have any traditional favorite bands or singers, I just pick and choose whichever songs or music I enjoy listening to at the moment.
If they made a movie about you, which actor would play you?
Quite frankly I’d rather not have a movie about myself, but if I had no choice, I’d get someone unknown to jumpstart their career.
What favorite places have you visited?
My family’s pretty fortunate to own a beach house and it’s practically paradise for me, and California is a pretty fun place for the brief time I was there.
What is one place you have not visited that you want to visit most?
The moon seems pretty cool! I’ve always wanted to experience low gravity, and seeing Earth from that view in person would be such a breathtaking sight!
What is your favorite sport to play? To watch?
I don’t watch sports, but I do love playing badminton! I also enjoy bowling, but admittedly I’m not very good at it.
What teams do you root for?
Like I said, I don’t watch sports, but my parents are hardcore Islanders fans, so I guess I’ll go with that.
Morning person or night owl?
Night owl, baby! Pajamas all the way!
Star Trek or Star Wars?
Neither; both are too overrated for my taste.
What are your favorite foods?
There’s nothing like a good pizza to put me in a good mood, especially if it’s from Pizza Hut or Domino’s.
What is your favorite John's Crazy Socks staff lunch?
A humble peanut butter and jelly sandwich packed from home always does just fine.
Favorite Sock at John's Crazy Socks?
But there’s so many to choose from! Though I guess if I’m forced to choose, it would have to be Down Syndrome Caped Superhero socks. The little capes are such a neat touch!
What do you like most about working at John's Crazy Socks?
Definitely the people! Everyone here is just so kind and patient and welcoming, it certainly makes all the difference. Combined with how easy it is and this is an A+ job in my book!
