Giving Back Report for February 2018

Giving Back Report for February 2018

Part of our mission is to Give Back. We do not believe it is enough to simply sell stuff; it is essential that a company connect with the community and give back. We do that through our mission to demonstrate what is possible for people with intellectual disabilities and through our Giving Back Program. We commit to transparency, so we each month we report on our Giving Back Program. In February of 2018, we raised $8,012 to charities.

Our Giving Pack Program

A large part of John’s Crazy Socks’ mission is to elevate people with intellectual disabilities. Our Giving Back Program helps us to achieve this mission. By donating to charities like Special Olympics, the Autism Society of America, and the NDSS, we strive to make donations that will positively impact the lives of people with disabilities such as Down syndrome, Williams Syndrome, and Autism.

John Cronin, the co-founder and inspiration behind John’s Crazy Socks, helped design the Giving Back Program when we opened in December 2016. He decided that 5% of our earnings should be given as a monthly donation to Special Olympics. John also helped to create a series of Charity and Awareness Socks. Each sale of our Charity and Awareness socks results in a per-unit donation to a specified charity. Little makes John happier than personally delivering these donations to the charitable organizations.

Nothing makes us happier than giving back to charity. We work hand-in-hand with our charity partners to help raise awareness for their causes. Then we report on this activity for our customers. Without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you.
