John’s Crazy Socks is inviting you to attend third annual Another Face of Beauty: Fashon and Art Show. The event will feature a fashion show, musical performances and a display of artwork. All of the models, performers and artists will have differing abilities.

The Models, Performers and Artists
Many organizations are collaborating to present this Fashion and Art Show. Models will come from John’s Crazy Socks, Special Olympics New York, The Viscardi Center, the Spirit of Huntington Art Center, and Family Residences and Essential Enterprises (FREE). Musicians from FREE will perform. The Spirit of Huntington Art Center is organizing the Art Show and will display works from artists from FREE, the Viscardi Center, John’s Crazy Socks and the Art Center.

A Beautiful Setting for All to See
The Fashion and Art Show will take place at center court of the Walt Whitman Shops (formerly known as the Walt Whitman Mall). The models will walk a red carpet showing off their outfits and, of course, their socks.
Next to the runway, the Spirit of Huntington Art Center will set up an art show that features the works of dozens of artists, several of whom walked the runway as models.
Michael Kitakis, the Director of the Spirit of Huntington Art Center, said “The artwork is full of energy and passion. It shows great beauty.”
An Entertaining Fashion Show
John and Mark X. Cronin, the cofounders of John's Crazy Socks, will take on the role of Masters of Ceremonies. One at a time, the models will strut or roll down the runway, pausing to wave to the crowd and acknowledge the applause.

Mark X. Cronin adds, "We stage Another Face of Beauty as part of our effort to show what people with differing abilities can do. We want the world to see what is possible, what people can do when given a chance. And the models and performers are so happy."
