At John’s Crazy Socks, we believe in spreading happiness and making a difference. That’s why we’re proud to support P.S. I Love You Day, a movement dedicated to spreading love, kindness, and mental health awareness. And we made P.S. I Love You Socks to support the mission.
This year, P.S. I Love You Day falls on February 14—Valentine’s Day! It’s the perfect time to remind those around us that they are never alone and that love and kindness can create a brighter future. The theme for 2025 is “A Brighter Tomorrow Starts Today,” encouraging us all to take steps—big or small—to make the world a kinder place.
What is P.S. I Love You Day?
Founded by Brooke DiPalma after the heartbreaking loss of her father, P.S. I Love You Day is observed on the second Friday of February. The day encourages people to wear purple as a symbol of support for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Schools, businesses, and communities across the country participate by hosting events, sharing messages of love, and creating safe spaces for important conversations.
How John’s Crazy Socks is Supporting P.S. I Love You Day
At John’s Crazy Socks, we created our P.S. I Love You Socks to help spread the message of love and support. These purple socks feature the phrase “P.S. I Love You” and a special message on the heel: “Be Proud of Who You Are.”
We donate 10 percent of every pair sold to the P.S. I Love You Day organization, helping fund student ambassador programs and scholarships to further suicide prevention efforts.
Wear Your Heart on Your Feet
By wearing our P.S. I Love You Socks on February 14, you’re not just making a fashion statement—you’re making a difference. You’re letting friends, family, and even strangers know that they are loved and supported.
So,let’s turn the world purple together!

About John’s Crazy Socks
John’s Crazy Socks was inspired by John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome, and his love of colorful and fun socks—what he calls his “crazy socks.” He and his father, Mark X. Cronin, started the company as a social enterprise with the mission of Spreading Happiness™. With more than 4,000 sock varieties, John’s Crazy Socks is now the world’s largest sock store. More than half of their employees have a differing ability, and their Giving Back program has raised over $800,000 for charity partners like the Special Olympics, the National Down Syndrome Society, and the Autism Society of America. Most of all, they are Spreading Happiness™.
