John’s Crazy Socks Introduces Adoption Awareness Socks

John’s Crazy Socks Introduces Adoption Awareness Socks

John’s Crazy Socks has introduced Adoption Awareness Socks to celebrate the joys of adoption. John’s Crazy Socks will donate 10 percent from the sale of these socks to the Gift of Adoption Fund.

John’s Crazy Socks has a mission to show what is possible when someone is given an opportunity. What better way to fulfill that mission than to celebrate and support adoptions of children in difficult situations?

“Making our Adoption Awareness Socks makes me so happy,” said Co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer John Cronin. “They celebrate the love of parents bringing a new child into their family.”

John’s Crazy Socks and the Gift of Adoption Fund

“We had heard from many customers asking us to make Adoption Awareness Socks,” said Mark X. Cronin, Co-founder and John’s father. “We are so happy that we can work with the Gift of Adoption Fund on this project.”

The Gift of Adoption Fund provides grants for families adopting children that have serious medical needs, children who are at-risk of aging out of orphanages or foster care, and children at-risk of entering foster care or being separated from their siblings.

“When we learned about the difference they made in children’s lives, we knew we wanted to donate to the Gift of Adoption Fund,” said Mark X. Cronin. Here are some of the examples of adoptions they have supported:

  • Raegan, who was adopted in Florida, “was born substance exposed and was on track to live a completely different kind of life than she’s currently living. Knowing that Gift of Adoption would help us do this…it made it possible.”
  • Rashi “was abandoned at the hospital that she was born in, likely because she has special needs. She was born very small–she weighed just over 3 pounds–and she has 6 toes on each foot… Physically, she will receive specialized care in every way she needs. Emotionally and spiritually, she will be loved and cared for.”
  • Konrad’s parents said, “This adoption is absolutely worth all the stress, tears, and costs as baby Konrad has brought tremendous joy to our family. With COVID-19 hanging over the country like a dark cloud it is a little bit scary to be two self-employed freelancers, but our children are our biggest blessings and keeping them together forever is our most important goal.”

Sharon Komlofske from the Gift of Adoption Fund said, “We are so grateful to be part of the John’s Crazy Socks family. 100% of the donations from the sale of the socks will be directed to complete the adoptions of more children, giving them the foundation of family to unleash their full potential.”
