Traveling for speaking engagements often brings surprises for John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer of John’s Crazy Socks. This week in Indianapolis, John was reminded once again of how many people love his socks and how his smile has touched.
On the flight out to Indiana, as passengers made their way down the aisle, one woman suddenly lit up. “It’s John from John’s Crazy Socks!” she exclaimed. She and John enjoyed a lively chat, and when the plane landed, John made sure to wait at the gate to speak with her. She shared how she has been wearing John’s socks for years and follows him on Instagram. The moment turned into laughter, stories, and photos together.
Then, on the way home, it happened again. As John settled into his seat, a gentleman behind him leaned forward and asked, “Are you John from John’s Crazy Socks?” He told John how his whole family loves the socks and how he gives them out as Christmas gifts. Though he wasn’t wearing them that day, he proudly shared that he had a pair tucked in his suitcase.
John loves meeting fans, and his fans love meeting John. These small encounters are reminders that John’s Crazy Socks is more than just a sock company; it’s a community built on joy, connection, and spreading happiness.
If you happen to see John in the wild, please say hello. He would love to meet you and share some happiness.
