If you happened to tune into the PBA Tour Championship this past weekend, you may have seen a familiar face sharing smiles and high-fives with the world’s top bowlers. That was our co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer, John Cronin, lighting up the Steel City Bowl and Brews in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and he wasn’t alone. John was joined by his brother Jamie, our Lord of the Socks, for a weekend full of fun, competition, and plenty of sock talk.
Our Socks Hit the Big Leagues
This year, John’s Crazy Socks became the official athletic sock partner of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), and we couldn’t be more excited to support this community of passionate athletes. As part of that partnership, we designed the official socks for the PBA Tour. These high-performance socks that proudly feature the iconic PBA logo, socks made for bowlers, by bowlers, with a whole lot of love.
But that’s not all. We’ve also created signature socks for two of the PBA’s biggest stars: Kyle Troup and Packy Hanrahan. Their custom designs are a hit with fans and a celebration of their bold personalities. When these guys take the lanes, they don’t just bring the heat — they bring the style.
Kyle Troup and John: Sock Brothers in Style
John and Kyle Troup share more than just a love of bowling — they share a sock line. At the PBA Tour Championship, John spent time with Kyle, cheering him on and sharing stories. Kyle gave John some lessons to help his bowling game. Kyle, a past PBA champion and fan favorite, sported his signature “Kyle Troup Socks” designed in collaboration with John’s Crazy Socks.
The bond between John and Kyle goes beyond business. It’s a friendship rooted in mutual respect, creativity, and a shared mission to bring fun and individuality to everything they do. And when you see Kyle rocking those socks on TV, you know exactly where they came from.
Lights, Camera, John!
We always say John is a star, and this weekend, he proved it again. During the televised broadcast on CBS Sports Network, cameras caught John enjoying the action and spreading his signature joy. His presence was felt throughout the tournament — greeting bowlers, chatting with fans, and even sharing a few dance moves (off-camera, of course).
This wasn't just a visit; it was a celebration. A celebration of our partnership with the PBA. A celebration of inclusive business. And a celebration of socks that are as bold as the people who wear them.
Bowling Is for Everyone. So Are Our Socks.
Bowling has long been part of John’s life. He first learned to bowl through the Special Olympics and still competes to this day. That’s why this partnership means so much. The PBA and John’s Crazy Socks both believe in building communities where everyone is welcome and everyone can shine.
Whether you’re chasing a perfect game or just love a cozy pair of socks, we’ve got you covered. From PBA official socks to the Kyle Troup and Packy Hanrahan collections, our socks bring the spirit of bowling to life — and they’re available now at John’s Crazy Socks.
What’s Next?
As the PBA Tour continues, we’ll be there in spirit, in style, and sometimes in person. John and Jamie brought a whole lot of happiness to Bethlehem this weekend, and we can’t wait to see where the lanes take us next.
So keep watching, keep cheering, and don’t forget to wear your lucky socks.

About John’s Crazy Socks
John’s Crazy Socks was inspired by John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome, and his love of colorful and fun socks—what he calls his “crazy socks.” He and his father, Mark X. Cronin, started the company as a social enterprise with the mission of Spreading Happiness™. With more than 4,000 sock styles, John’s Crazy Socks is now the world’s largest sock store. More than half of their employees have a differing ability, and their Giving Back program has raised over $800,000 for charity partners like the Special Olympics, the National Down Syndrome Society, and the Autism Society of America. Most of all, we are Spreading Happiness™.
