At John’s Crazy Socks, we want to show the world what people with differing abilities can do. Our co-founder and inspiration, John Cronin, has Down syndrome and every day he demonstrates that Down syndrome never holds him back. In many ways, Down syndrome has become his superpower.
We want to celebrate the achievements of other leaders with Down syndrome. Therefore, we have created our 3/21 Inclusive Entrepreneur Award to recognize entrepreneurs with Down syndrome making a difference and helping change the world.

At John’s Crazy Socks, we believe in celebrating ability, determination, and the power of entrepreneurship.That’s why, in honor of World Down Syndrome Day (March 21, 2025), we are proud to introduce the 3/21 Inclusive Entrepreneur Award, a recognition of outstanding entrepreneurs with Down syndrome who are making a difference in their industries and communities.
The first five winners of the 3/21 Inclusive Entrepreneur Award will be announced during the World Down Syndrome Day celebration at John’s Crazy Socks and will be streamed live on Facebook.
Honoring Trailblazers in Business
Entrepreneurship is about passion, innovation, and resilience—qualities that shine in so many individuals with Down syndrome. This award highlights their accomplishments, showcases their businesses, and inspires others to chase their dreams.
As John Cronin, our co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer, says: "We want the world to see the achievements of people with Down syndrome."
