World Down Syndrome Day is March 21st! On that day we celebrate by wearing crazy socks. Wearing fun colorful socks on World Down Syndrome Day helps spread awareness of people with Down syndrome. John says people celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, by wear crazy socks. Why wear crazy socks on that day? I always say, “My socks let me be me.” We have a collection of fun socks you and your family can wear this year on March 21st.
1.Down Syndrome Awareness Socks Unisex Crew Sock
We wanted the Down Syndrome Awareness Socks to be colorful, fun and beautiful. The 3-21 represents both World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) and the extra chromosome that people with Down syndrome carry. Most of us are born with 23 pairs of chromosomes, but people with Down syndrome are born with a full or partial extra copy of chromosome 21, thus 3-21.

Our Law Syndrome Socks are beautiful and striking socks supporting a striking cause. Our Law Syndrome Socks support the National Down Syndrome Society’s Campaign to End Law Syndrome. Simply put, Down syndrome is not the problem, Law Syndrome is. People with Down syndrome and other disabilities, people like our co-founder, John Cronin, want meaningful careers where they can contribute, pay taxes and work like everyone else, but antiquated laws make them choose between a job and independence or critical benefits like savings accounts and Medicaid.
We created these Law Syndrome Socks in conjunction with NDSS. In launching the End Law Syndrome Campaign, NDSS distributed a pair of these socks to each member of Congress. When you buy and wear these socks, you join the effort to end Law Syndrome so that people with Down syndrome and other disabilities have every opportunity to work and contribute to our society. We donate 10% from the sale of every pair to the National Down Syndrome Society.

Blake Pyron has never been limited. Not by his community, not by his parents, and certainly not by his Down Syndrome. That’s why he rolled up his sleeves, stocked up on syrup and opened Blake’s Snow Shack for business in 2015. A life-long Sanger Texas resident and bona-fide local celebrity, Blake’s inspirational story has gone worldwide, with national and international press establishing the Snow Shack as a can’t-miss stop on any Texas tour. After all, it serves up two amazing things: crazy delicious snow cones and Blake’s million-dollar smile. But don’t let the smile fool you. It’s a tough job being a National Down Syndrome Ambassador, world-famous snow cone slinger, Boss Man business owner, and the toast of the town. But Blake’s hard work is proof that the approximately 6,000 babies born with Down Syndrome each year represent 6,000 future entrepreneurs, community leaders, and valuable members of society. He’s proud that his namesake Snow Shack is a pretty sweet example of how successful people with Down Syndrome can be, and he can’t wait to serve you a snow cone and a smile! So, help us here at John’s Crazy Socks to support our friend Blake and his Snow Shack. Get your Blake’s Snow Shack Socks today!
