“I love the North Shore Animal League America,” said John Cronin, co-founder of John’s Crazy Socks.” I love to visit with the puppies and kittens. I love the way they save those puppies and kittens and find that new homes.”

“This is a special day for us,” said Mark X. Cronin, John’s father and co-founder,” because John’s Crazy Socks is celebrating our sixth anniversary and what better way to celebrate than to shine a light on the great work done by the North Shore Animal League America.

John’s Crazy Socks and the North Shore Animal League America

The North Shore Animal League America is an important charity partner for John’s Crazy Socks. “We all love our pets,” said Mark, “and this organization not only rescues abandoned pets and saves them from puppy mills, but they place them in loving and caring homes. When you adopt a rescued pet the joys and meaning are so profound that the old bumper sticker comes to mind: “Who rescued whom?”

To support the North Shore Animal League America, John’s Crazy Socks introduced its line of Animal Rescue Socks in early 2021. We donate 10 percent from the sale of the socks to the North Shore Animal League America. Now our line of Animal Rescue products include socks, blankets, stickers, gift packs and more. All of these products raise money for the North Shore Animal League America.

John Cronin said, “We have a mission to spread happiness and our customers know that when they buy from us, they are spreading happiness.”

And the keys to happiness? John said, “It is doing for others and gratitude. And our 12 Days of Giving shows our gratitude for the work of our charity partners.”

Mark X. Cronin, John’s co-founder and father, said, “Our customers know when they buy from us, they will receive great socks with personalized service, but they also know they help us hire people with differing abilities, they help us give back and, most of all, they help us spread happiness.”

The 12 Days of Giving is part of the Giving Back program at John’s Crazy Socks which has raised over $550,000 for our charity partners.
