John’s Crazy Socks Introduces Online Tours and Meetings with John

John’s Crazy Socks has introduced Online Meetings with John: Hear the Story of John’s Crazy Socks. These 45-minute sessions open John’s Crazy Socks to the world and invite people to meet John and hear the story of how a young entrepreneur who happens to have Down syndrome could create an internationally recognized business to spread happiness.

John’s Crazy Socks has a mission to spread happiness and show the world what people with differing abilities can accomplish. More than half the employees at John’s Crazy Socks have a differing ability. As part of that mission, the Company has given warehouse tours to schools, social social agencies and other organizations. With the social distancing made necessary by the Coronavirus, the company has suspended its warehouse tours.  By introducing these online sessions, the company will extend itself beyond Long Island and New York.

“I love talking to people about my business and showing what people with differing abilities can do,” said Chief Happiness Officer and Co-founder, John Cronin.

Online tours and Sessions with John

These tours allow customers and supporters to meet John online. Hear the story of John’s Crazy Socks and ask John your questions. You no longer have to live on Long island to meet John, you can sign in and meet him from anywhere the world.

During this online meeting, John and his Dad (Mark) will:

  • Tell the story of how they got started (and why they decided not to open a food truck)
  • Share how they show what people with differing abilities can do
  • Talk of the importance of having both a social mission and a business mission
  • Share stories of the impact their business has had on others
  • Answer questions
  • Maybe tell a joke or two. John may even dance.

These Online Meetings are free, fun and bound to spread some happiness. Invite your friends. You can make it a play date and bring your friends together online. If you are a teacher, bring your classes together online.

We conduct these meetings using Zoom, which you can get for free. All you need is a device that can run Zoom (a computer, an iPad, a phone) and internet access.
