I have a confession: I don't want to wait until December to celebrate Christmas. So, this year, I'm not going to.
On Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, we're turning our store on Main Street in Huntington Village into a Christmas wonderland. In July. I know, I know, it sounds crazy. But that's kind of our whole thing, right?
Here's why we're doing it. Summer is usually our slowest time of year. Nobody's thinking about cozy socks when it's 85 degrees out. My dad and I looked at that and thought: instead of waiting around for the calendar to bring us some holiday cheer, why don't we just bring it ourselves?
Here's what's happening
Christmas Eve — Friday, July 24, 6:00 to 8:00 PM I can't wait for this one. We've got a Summer Santa coming, Santa Story Time, and a Christmas Carol Sing-Along. Yes, we're going to sing carols. There will be giveaways, games, and cookies, because it's not a party without cookies. We’ll have Christmas socks. We’ll have socks, socks, and more socks.
Christmas Morning — Saturday, July 25, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Come take pictures with Santa, and get ready for a snowball fight, I'm not going to tell you how we're pulling that off in the middle of summer, you'll just have to come see. Plus, holiday games and surprises all morning. We’ll have Christmas socks. We’ll have socks, socks, and more socks.

Wear your pajamas. Wear your Crazy Socks. Wear a Hawaiian shirt if that's more your speed. Honestly, wear all three at once — I might. The only rule is you have to be ready to have fun.
Why this matters to me
I love Christmas. I love our customers. And I love any excuse to get our community together in our store and just spread some happiness. That's the whole reason we started this business back in 2016: to show what I can do, and to make people smile while we're at it. A holiday party in the middle of summer is exactly the kind of crazy idea that fits us perfectly.
I'll be there both days, greeting everyone who walks in. If you've never met me before, now's your chance. If you have, come say hi again — I remember more faces than you'd think.
