After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:
Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

Designed by John with American flags spread across a field of blue, we created these Unity Athletic Socks to symbolize the unity and inclusion that binds all Americans. As John said, “Let’s do something to bring people together and make them happy.”
We may come from different backgrounds and we may have different political views, but we share a common belief in the promise of the United States of America. These socks stand for unity and inclusion of all Americans and we donate 10 percent from the sale of these socks to the National Down Syndrome Society.
