After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:
Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

The John's Crazy Socks' motto is "spreading happiness" and our new Spreading Happiness Socks are designed to do just that! These beautiful socks were designed by John Cronin [our founder and inspiration] and feature not only the words "spreading happiness" but they are covered in smiles. Just like you'll be covered in smiles when you're wearing our Spreading Happiness Socks!
These Spreading Happiness Socks also raise money for Special Olympics since 5 percent of our earnings are donated to Special Olympics! Why Special Olympics? Because John is a Special Olympics athlete and has gotten so much from his participation over the years. John wants to give back to this terrific organization.
