We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.

Our Autism Awareness Hot Air Balloon Unisex Crew Socks celebrate all people on the autism spectrum. The sale of these socks helps fund Autism causes as we donate 10% from every sale to the Autism Society of America (Nassau/Suffolk Chapter).
As a company co-founded by a man with Down Syndrome, we understand the challenges people with Autism face as well as the capabilities they possess and the contributions they make to society. At John’s Crazy Socks, we employ people on the autism spectrum because they can help our organization achieve its mission. These colleagues make important contributions to the organization every day and we count on their performance. We emphasize what people can do, not their limitations.
