After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:
Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

John loves Buddy Walks®! The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness. This event raises awareness and funds for programs that benefit people with Down syndrome and their families. So, John came up with an idea! Why not create socks for these walks 😁!
We donate 10% from the sale of every pair of these socks to support Down syndrome. 10% of our Buddy Walk Socks is donated to NDSS ( National Down Syndrome Society).
