United StatesFirst, it was my lesson for my class learning about entrepreneurship. I wanted students to see first hand about how passion drives success. My students explored all the marketing that goes into his operation down to the surprise and personal message. I chose the elephant sock because an elephant is our mascot. It was our first lesson in virtual distance learning because of the coronavirus. It gave the students a lift. Some personally emailed how moved they were. One student will be picked to receive the socks that I will send in the mail. We did not anticipate that we may never be back in the classroom. Maybe I will just give a pair away every month until the school year ends. Thanks John and Dad, for reminding us the importance of life and family. Go Coventry Oakers!!!
