After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:

Our own-designed Lion Socks depict a majestic lion on a light brown background typical of the grasslands and savanna on which he lives . You can see the beauty of his man and the detail of his face. He truly looks the part as the King of all he surveys. These socks are manufactured using a sublimation process that permits exquisite detail in the design. You can not only see the individual hairs of his mane, but you can also see the straw-like background of his habitat! In addition, the sock is extraordinarily comfortable and since there are no threads or knitted seams, individuals with sensory issues with love this design and style.
The Lion Socks are part of our growing Awareness Collection and we will donate 10% from the sale of each pair of these Lion Socks to HeartShare Human Services of New York, an organization that nurtures and empowers children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, Down Syndrome and cerebral palsy and supports their families.
We have a "matching" Lioness Socks. Together, they make a beautiful gift.
