When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.

The Williams Syndrome Awareness Crew Socks celebrate all people with Williams Syndrome. Every time someone asks you about your distinctive and beautiful socks, you will help raise awareness of Williams Syndrome. Every purchase helps fund important services and outreach as we donate 10% from the sale of each pair to the Williams Syndrome Association.

John’s Crazy Socks was co-founded by John Cronin, a young man with Down Syndrome, a chromosomal condition like Williams syndrome. John understands the challenges people with Williams Syndrome face just as he recognizes their ability to bring joy to so many and to make contributions to society.
What is Williams syndrome?
According the Williams Syndrome Association, Williams Syndrome (WS) is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone. Approximately 30,000 individuals in the United States are affected by this disorder. It is characterized by health problems, including cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning challenges, which often occur side by side with striking verbal abilities, highly social personalities and an affinity for music.
