Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Hi, it’s John and Mark.

We haven’t gone anywhere.

After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.

This pause is intentional.

We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.

In the meantime:

  • Our custom socks and business services continue
  • In 2026, we will reintroduce our Sock of the Month
  • We can’t wait to show you what we are working on to make the store even better.
  • Our broader mission lives on through Abilities Rising

Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

We’re building what comes next.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

We can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

Extra Love 321 Car Magnet

Extra Love 321 Car Magnet

Celebrate the achievements of the Down syndrome community with our brand new Extra Love 321 Car Magnets! They were made with love to honor all people with Down syndrome. These magnets measure 5 inches x 5 inches and are circular in shape.

Did you know: John's Crazy Socks was co-founded and inspired by John Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome. John is an excellent example of how people with Down syndrome attend school, work, and contribute to society in many beautiful ways.

We donate 10% from the sale of every pair of these car magnets to support Down syndrome. The money goes to the  National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS).

Add it to your car today to show your support for Down syndrome awareness!

Tips: Remove the magnet after a snowfall or rain, wipe dry and reapply. Also, remove magnets before pressure washing, especially in winter, as most car washes use de-icing chemicals that could damage the magnet face. It is essential to clean the vehicle surface and back of the magnetic material before application. In addition, apply a thin layer of car wax to the vehicle surface and back side of the magnet, especially during the summer months. For car magnets with heavy sun exposure, a slightly heavier coat of wax is recommended during application. A heavier wax coating may help prevent damage from trapped water, dirt, and road chemicals.

Size: 5 inches x 5 inches (circle shaped)
