Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Hi, it’s John and Mark.

We haven’t gone anywhere.

After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.

This pause is intentional.

We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.

In the meantime:

  • Our custom socks and business services continue
  • In 2026, we will reintroduce our Sock of the Month
  • We can’t wait to show you what we are working on to make the store even better.
  • Our broader mission lives on through Abilities Rising

Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

We’re building what comes next.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

We can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

Cat Compression Knee High Sock

Cat Compression Knee-Highs — quick overview

Cat Unisex Compression Knee High Socks from Living Royal blend playful feline graphics with 15–20 mmHg graduated support. The 95 % nylon / 5 % spandex knit hugs calves without pinching, wicks heat on summer strolls, and slides smoothly under scrubs or cycling tights. One pair of “cattitude” works as hard as you do—whether you’re pulling a double shift, boarding a red-eye, or chasing a personal best.

Will they improve circulation on long flights or shifts?

Yes. Cat Unisex Compression Knee High Socks apply a doctor-recommended 15–20 mmHg gradient that’s tighter at the ankle and gentler toward the knee. That pressure pattern encourages upward blood flow, helping reduce swelling, stave off “heavy-leg” fatigue, and lower DVT risk on cross-country flights. A 360-degree stretch knit keeps the squeeze consistent even as you squat, sprint, or sit for hours—so relief never loosens as the day drags on.

Do they stay comfortable through workouts and daily wear?

Absolutely. The premium nylon filament feels cool to the touch and pulls moisture off skin faster than cotton, keeping calves dry during CrossFit burpees or delivery-route marathons. Seam-smooth toes eliminate inside-shoe hotspots, while a flex-rib upper cuff prevents painful digging yet refuses to slouch. Reviewers love how the sock’s mild massaging compression doubles as snug shin protection when cycling, running, or re-racking weights.

What size and fit should I choose?

Cat Unisex Compression Knee High Socks come in a single, flexible size that fits most: men’s U.S. shoe 6–13 and women’s 4–12. Thanks to spandex stretch, the sleeve adapts to calf circumferences up to roughly 17 inches without distorting the playful cat pattern. If you’re between shoe sizes, pick according to calf girth—lean limbs? Expect a stay-up, no-sag feel; fuller calves? Compression will be firm yet still breathable.

What are they made of & how do I care for them?

A tough-yet-soft blend of 95 % nylon and 5 % spandex delivers durable rebound over hundreds of wears. Knit by Living Royal and finished overseas, the yarn resists pilling and holds its vivid feline print wash after wash. Machine-wash cold inside-out, avoid fabric softener (it can clog moisture channels), and tumble low or air-dry. Follow those steps and your cat-clad support stockings stay elastic and vibrant for the long haul.

Quick-answer FAQ

  • Q: Do the socks roll down during a 12-hour nursing shift?
A: The wide comfort cuff and graduated compression keep Cat Unisex Compression Knee High Socks anchored from clock-in to clock-out.
  • Q: Can I wear them for post-surgery recovery?
A: Always check with your physician, but 15–20 mmHg is widely recommended for mild edema and everyday support.
  • Q: Are they safe for flights longer than eight hours?
A: Yes—many travelers use 15–20 mmHg stockings to reduce swelling and DVT risk on transoceanic routes.
  • Q: Will the cat graphic stretch out on larger calves?
A: The high-denier print scales without cracking; the design remains crisp even when the fabric is fully expanded.

Buy once, smile every step—because serious compression can still be seriously fun.
