After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:

What can a sock company do to thank the doctors, nurses, and health care professionals . Make socks. Socks to celebrate health care workers, their bravery, courage, and sacrifice. Socks to raise money to care for nurses on the front lines of the fight against this virus.
John Cronin, co-founder and Chief Happiness Officer at John’s Crazy Socks said, “We made our Health Care Superhero Socks to say thank you to the nurses and doctors and to give back because they give so much.” John added, “We have a mission to Spread Happiness and we want these socks to make people happy.”
We stand with all of our America in thanking our frontline medical workers who have put themselves at risk to serve others. They risk their lives to save our lives. They are true heroes.
The socks will raise money for the American Nurses Foundation's Response Fund. This fund provides direct assistance to nurses and supports the mental health of nurses during and after the pandemic.
These are Charity Socks. We will donate 10% from each pair sold to the American Nurses Foundation's Response Fund
