This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:

“I Have Mood Swings. Do you have a problem with that? I didn’t think so.” These socks tell people how it is - they can make your prying peers leave you alone and let you live your life.
Sometimes there’s nothing you can say but the truth. And once you own up to the truth, let me tell you, life gets much simpler. On the days when you can’t figure out how you feel, because you’ve been through every possible emotion and it isn’t even lunchtime yet, the last thing you need is people trying to work out “what’s going on with you”- so try this comeback.
To the guy in your office who is still trying to “figure you out”- “I Have Mood Swings Socks. I’m complicated. I can’t pin my feelings to just one word. Deal with it.”
The guy who insists that you need to smile more- “I Have Mood Swings Socks. I’ll smile when I feel like it so move along, buddy.”
The friend who doesn’t get you and feels the need to comment “Wow, you’ve been all over the place today.”
“Yeah- read the socks. I Have Mood Swings.”
