After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.
This pause is intentional.
We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.
In the meantime:
Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

EAC Network and John’s Crazy Socks partnered to create New York-themed EAC Network Unisex Crew Socks . The design represents over five decades of human and social service nonprofit success, achieved through 100+ programs that support New Yorkers in need, from the East End to Rockland County and all five boroughs in between.
Dedicated to second chances, a portion of the proceeds sustains EAC’s efforts in helping an estimated 65,000 New Yorkers each year, including children & youth, families & communities, those struggling with substance use and mental health challenges, New Yorkers reentering the community after time served, senior citizens, and job seekers in need of steady employment.
On a mission to foster a more compassionate and just society, EAC is a network of vital programs and resources that ensures every person has an opportunity to achieve a better life.
