Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Wait, What Happened to the Store?

Hi, it’s John and Mark.

We haven’t gone anywhere.

After nine wonderful years of shipping socks around the world, creating meaningful jobs, and spreading happiness, we’ve decided to pause our direct-to-consumer online store.

This pause is intentional.

We’re taking time to reflect on everything we’ve learned, streamline what worked best, and rebuild the store so we can be stronger, more focused, and even more joyful. When we return in 2026, it will be with an updated version of John’s Crazy Socks, rooted in the same mission we’ve always had: spreading happiness and showing what people with differing abilities can do.

In the meantime:

  • Our custom socks and business services continue
  • In 2026, we will reintroduce our Sock of the Month
  • We can’t wait to show you what we are working on to make the store even better.
  • Our broader mission lives on through Abilities Rising

Most importantly, John’s Crazy Socks is not closing.

We’re building what comes next.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

We can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

Four Leaf Clover Socks Unisex Crew Sock

Four Leaf Clover Socks

These Four Leaf Clover Socks are bursting with green clovers and are bound to bring you good luck.

Everyone knows the four leaf clovers symbolize good luck. In part, that’s because four leaf clovers are relatively rare and to find one brings good fortune. Each leaf represents a specific virtue: hope, faith, love and luck.

Did you know that there is a legend that Eve carried a four leaf clover out of Eden? Thus to hold a four leaf clover is to touch a bit of paradise.

In the Middle Ages, rumor had it that if you carried a four leaf clover you could see fairies. Others said the Druids carried four leaf clovers to let them see and avoid evil spirits.

A four leaf clover is not a shamrock, which only has three leaves. The shamrock is associated with St. Patrick because he used it to explain the Holy Trinity. Nonetheless, the four leaf clover has been associated with St. Patrick’s Day because it is green, a sign of spring and brings good luck.

These Four Leaf Clover Socks may make you think of Ireland, but they were made right here in the United States.
